More on public attitudes

In April, I did my own little opinion poll, among a small group of journalism students in Dublin. I asked them some of the same questions that Amárach Research had put to 1,000 members of the public in Ireland, in 2013.

The difference in the answers from the two groups are striking. Have a look:

Now, all the usual caveats apply. Particularly since my sample was very small. But still, if these results are anything to go by, the next generation of Irish journalists might be useful allies for NGOs wishing to deepen public understanding of global issues.

Have you got an opportunity to add to our data set?

Let us know if you have an event coming up, and we’ll supply you with the questionnaires – and the analysis!

Hi there just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know a few of the pictures aren’t
loading correctly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue.
I’ve tried it in two different web browsers and both
    show the same outcome.
